Source: The Original Lists of Persons of Quality: 1600-1700, 1974. Chapter: Passinger Wch Passed From Ye Port of London [1635], pages 78, 79.

xv Maij 1635
Theis vnder-written names are to Virginea: imbarqued in the Plaine Joan Richard Buckam Mr. The pties having brought Attestacon of their confomitieto the orders discipline of the Church of England.

Jo: Northin 22 (years)

Comment: Jo Northin is probably the same as John Northen. His listed age of 22 years corresponds to a birth year approximating 1613. The spelling for the last name is probably a result of either a misunderstanding of pronunciation by the transcriber, or an error on the transcriber’s part.

John Northin was one of approximately 68 passengers who embarked on the Plaine Joan.
