1. WILLIAM⁵ NORTHERN (PETER SMITH⁴, WILLIAM³ NORTHEN, EDMUND², JOHN¹ NORTHERN) was born June 16, 1780 in Virginia, and died 1846 in Christian County, KY. He married LUCY ROBINSON YEATMAN June 22, 1801 in Westmoreland, Virginia, daughter of THOMAS YEATMAN and FRANCIS ROBINSON.

ii. FANNIE ROBINSON NORTHERN, b. 1806; d. 1806.

iii. MARY EVANS NORTHERN, b. December 1809, Virginia; d. 1872, Providence, KY; m. NEWTON HEADLEY, Abt. 1823.
